The U3A Walking Group is a walking group dedicated to walking under five miles. These walks are led by Voluntary Walk Leaders, on well-defined paths and following a set journey which makes it absolutely perfect for those looking to get out and about without subjecting themselves to a longer walk. All walks also take part on well-defined paths.

Meeting at 9:50 at Toft’s House Car Park for registration, a Health Questionnaire will also need to be completed.

After registration at Toft House, car share to the Whitewater Centre at Tees Barrage for an enjoyable riverside walk towards Thornaby, taking in the bridges of Stockton. Refreshments will be had at Pier 22 before returning home.

The walk will be about 4 miles long on good footpaths.
